20 bulb count, the clear bulbs are rice bulb size, measuring 1/8" wide, the tip of the bulb hangs 7/8" from the cord. Battery pack requires 2 C size batteries (NOT included) and has an on/off switch. There's 23 1/2" of bare wire from the pack to the first bulb, the bulbs are 3" apart. Length is 54" from the first bulb to the last bulb. You could double up the wire and make the bulbs 1 1/2" apart and giving you 27" from first bulb to last bulb. The bulbs do not come off and are not replaceable, for indoor use only.
